Dr. Dana Corbett

Dr. Dana Corbett has served the dental needs of her patients for the past 19 years. Upon graduation from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1997, she began her dental career in Atlanta, Georgia. But, the call of home and the chance to work professionally with her father, Dr. Oakie G. Newsome, was too great an opportunity for her to pass up. In 1999, Dr. Corbett began serving her patients at her practice at 540 E. Main Street.

Dr. Corbett is a native of Lexington, and after graduating from Henry Clay High School, she attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. She is a member of the Blue Grass Dental Society, the Kentucky Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Corbett believes that lifelong learning is the key to providing the best possible care, and she participates in extensive continuing education with Spear Study Clubs.

Dr. Corbett is married to Mike Corbett, and they have three great children. Outside of her dental career, Dr. Corbett is active in her community. She serves and volunteers in her church home, in her children’s schools, and in various other organizations, including her personal favorite – Girls on the Run. Her interests include hiking, running, playing tennis, skiing, doing needlepoint, and being a mom!
